Girl Saved From Burning Building!

This evening at 9:32 on 123 South Main Street, a young girl meerly escaped deathly flames caused by a gas leak in her family home. Local firefighters were able to save her and her dog. Luckily, the rest of the family was away. The house had completely burned down. No rooms was saved, but she was able to grab some of her valuables. This was the first, gas leak caused, house fire Marshall has seen in over two years.

A neighbor was able to call 911. She says, "I'm so glad I was able to help her. Lord knows what would have happened if I wasn't in my kitchen getting cookies at 2 a.m." The victim is expected to make a full recovery at the Marshall Hospital. She suffers from second degree burns and a broken arm from a fallen piece of wood from her ceiling. The police are investigating, and as of right now, it is unclear weather foul play was invloved.
